Effective during the period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act and ending December 31, 2022, for the purposes of any provision of law, the recommendations of the United States Preventive Service Task Force regarding cervical cancer screening with a combination of cytology and human papillomavirus testing for women age 30 to 65 (issued in March 2012) shall be considered the most current recommendations of the United States Preventive Service Task Force for such cervical cancer screening.
Any final recommendation regarding cervical cancer screening described in the preceding sentence issued by the United States Preventive Service Task Force that is based on the draft recommendation for such screening issued by the United States Preventive Service Task Force in 2017 shall have no force or effect under any provision of law.
