Sec. 7182. Report on investigations regarding parity in mental health and substance use disorder benefits

Section 13003 of the 21st Century Cures Act ( Public Law 114–255 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— by striking with findings of any serious violation regarding and inserting concerning ; and by inserting and the Committee on Education and the Workforce after Energy and Commerce ; and in subsection (b)(1)— by inserting complaints received and number of before closed ; and by inserting before the period , and, for each such investigation closed, which agency conducted the investigation, whether the health plan that is the subject of the investigation is fully insured or not fully insured and a summary of any coordination between the applicable State regulators and the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, or the Department of the Treasury, and references to any guidance provided by the agencies addressing the category of violation committed .
The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to the second annual report required under such section 13003 and each such annual report thereafter.
