Sec. 508. Report on contracts with Kaspersky Labs and Huawei

Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall develop a process and timeframe for determining whether or not the Department purchased software, hardware, or services from Kaspersky Lab, Huawei, ZTE Corporation, or from any affiliates from which Kaspersky Lab, Huawei, or ZTE Corporation equipment, software, or services may be contained, and if so, if any of those products or services are still in use. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall brief the relevant congressional committees on the findings pursuant to the review under subsection (a), and shall provide updates every 30 days thereafter until the review is complete.
