Section 1408 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (e)— in paragraph (1), by striking The and inserting Subject to subsection (l)(2), the ; and in paragraph (4)(B), by striking other provision of law and inserting provision of law except subsection (l)(2) ; and in subsection (l)(2), by striking the second sentence and inserting The limitations on the amount of disposable retired pay available for payments under paragraphs
