Sec. 2846. Restrictions on rehabilitation of Over-the-Horizon Backscatter Radar Station

Except as provided in subsection (b), the Secretary of the Air Force may not use any funds or resources to carry out the rehabilitation of the Over-the-Horizon Backscatter Radar Station on Modoc National Forest land in Modoc County, California. Notwithstanding subsection (a), the Secretary may use funds and resources to remove the perimeter fence surrounding the Over-the-Horizon Backscatter Radar Station and to carry out the mitigation of soil contamination associated with such fence. Subsection
(a)shall terminate on the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020.
