Paragraph
(22)of section 1202(b) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2000 ( Public Law 106–65 ; 10 U.S.C. 113 note), as most recently amended by section 1261 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 ( Public Law 115–91 ; 131 Stat. 1688), is further amended by striking activities in the South China Sea and inserting the following: activities— in the South China Sea; in the East China Sea, including in the vicinity of the Senkaku islands; and in the Indian Ocean region. .
