Chapter 643 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by inserting after section 7479 the following new section: The Secretary of the Navy may prescribe regulations establishing a program to conduct on-duty reasonable suspicion alcohol testing and post-accident alcohol testing of civil service mariners of the Military Sealift Command who are assigned to vessels. . Section 7479 of such title is amended— in the heading of subsection (a), by inserting after or alcohol ; and drug by inserting or alcohol after drug each place it appears.
The heading of such section is amended to read as follows: . The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 643 of such title is amended by striking the item relating to section 7479 and inserting the following new items: 7479.
