Sec. 2826. Representation of installation interests in negotiations and proceedings with carriers and other public utilities

Section 501(c) of title 40, United States Code, is amended— by redesignating paragraphs
(1)and
(2)as subparagraphs
(A)and (B), respectively; by inserting
(1)before For transportation ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: Prior to representing any installation of the Department of Defense in any proceeding under this subsection, the Administrator or any persons or entities acting on behalf of the Administrator shall— notify the senior mission commander of the installation; and solicit and represent the interests of the installation as determined by the installation’s senior mission commander. .
