Section 1279(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 22 U.S.C. 8606 note), as most recently amended by section 1278 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 ( Public Law 115–91 ; 131 Stat. 1700), is further amended— by inserting and capabilities for countering unmanned aerial systems after anti-tunnel capabilities ; and by inserting and unmanned aerial systems after underground tunnels .
