Section 237(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1227(a) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)(D)(i), by inserting or permanent partners after spouses each place it appears; in paragraphs (1)(E)(ii), (1)(E)(iii), and (1)(H)(I)(I), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse ; and in paragraphs (2)(E)(i) and (3)(C)(ii), by inserting or permanent partner after spouse each place it appears.
