Not later than January 5, 2019, and every 3 months thereafter— the Attorney General shall submit a report on— the total number of asylum cases filed by unaccompanied alien children and completed by an immigration judge during the 3-month period preceding the date of the report, and the percentage of those cases in which asylum was granted; and the number of unaccompanied alien children who failed to appear for any proceeding before an immigration judge during the 3-month period preceding the date of the report; and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall submit a report on the total number of applications for asylum, filed by unaccompanied alien children, that were adjudicated during the 3-month period preceding the date of the report and the percentage of those applications that were granted.
