Section 1241 of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 16 U.S.C. 3841 ) is amended— in subsection (a)— in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking 2018 and inserting 2023 ; and in paragraph (1)— in subparagraph (A), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; by redesignating subparagraph
(B)as subparagraph
(C)and inserting after subparagraph
(A)the following: such sums as are necessary to carry out section 1235(f) to facilitate the transfer of land subject to contracts under the conservation reserve program from an eligible landowner to beginning farmers or ranchers and socially disadvantaged farmers or ranchers; and ; and in subparagraph
(C)(as so redesignated)— by striking $33,000,000 and inserting $5,000,000 ; and by striking 2014 through 2018 and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting 2019 through 2023 for outreach and technical assistance in carrying out section 1235(f). ; and in subsection (h)(1)— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking 2018 and inserting 2023 ; in subparagraph (A), by striking 5 percent and inserting 15 percent ; and in subparagraph (B), by striking 5 percent and inserting 15 percent .
