Section 428J of the Higher Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1078–10 ) is amended— in subsection (b)(1), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking 5 and inserting 3 ; in subsection (c)— in paragraph (1)— by striking $5,000 and inserting $17,500 ; and by striking fifth and inserting third ; and by striking paragraph (3); and in subsection (g)— by inserting or at the end of subparagraph (A); and by striking subparagraph (B). Section 460 of the Higher Education of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 1087j ) is amended— in subsection (b)(1), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking 5 and inserting 3 ; in subsection (c)— in paragraph (1)— by striking $5,000 and inserting $17,500 ; and by striking fifth and inserting third ; and by striking paragraph (3); and in subsection (g)— by inserting or at the end of subparagraph (A); and by striking subparagraph (B).
