Not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Commissioner of Reclamation, shall— determine the annual energy consumption, including purchased energy, by pumping stations operated by the Bureau of Reclamation for each of the previous 10 years; estimate the annual energy consumption, including purchased energy, by pumping stations operated by the Bureau of Reclamation for each of the next 10 years; generate a list of the 10 pumping stations operated by the Bureau of Reclamation that consumed the most energy, including purchased energy, in the previous 10 years; and pursue opportunities for energy efficiency and low-carbon energy technologies at the pumping stations described in paragraph (3).
