Section 8109(b) of title 38, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (2), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (3), by striking the period and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: notwithstanding subsection
(a)of section 1344 of title 31, may use a passenger carrier (as such term is defined in subsection (h)(1) of such section) to transport such an employee between a parking facility and the medical facility of the Department at which the employee works. .
