Section 44501(b) of title 49, United States Code, is amended— in the first sentence by striking The Administrator and inserting Before the date of transfer (as defined in section 90101(a)), the Administrator ; in paragraph (4)(B) by striking and at the end; in paragraph
(5)by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: for fiscal years 2017 through 2020, a process under which the Administrator shall continue to comply with the requirements of this section before the date of transfer (as defined in section 90101(a)). .
