Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration shall conduct a cost and feasibility study of developing a training program for security screening personnel that will provide such personnel with an equal level of training as is provided in the training program for new security screening personnel located at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia, that could be conducted at or within 50 miles of such security screening personnel’s duty station.
Such study should examine the use of online seminar and training platforms for portions of the training curriculum that are conducive to such an outcome.
