Sec. 515. Explosives detection canine teams for aviation

The Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration shall ensure that by December 31, 2018, at least 300 explosives detection canine teams are dedicated to passenger screening purposes at airports in the United States at which the Administration performs, or oversees the implementation and performance of, security measures, including screening responsibilities. At airports in the United States at which— canine teams trained to screen passengers are available, and the Transportation Security Administration has passenger screening responsibilities, the Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration may use such teams to detect screening anomalies.
