Section 1135 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (b), by striking When and inserting Subject to subsection (c), when ; by redesignating subsection
(c)as subsection (d); and by inserting after subsection
(b)the following new subsection (c): If the recipient was awarded the military decoration for which a replacement is requested for service in World War II or the Korean War, the Secretary concerned shall perform all actions described— in subsection (b)(1) in not more than 180 days; and in subsection (b)(2) in not more than 60 days. .
