Sec. 1686. Aegis Ashore anti-air warfare capability

Using funds authorized to be appropriated by sections 101 and 201 of this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2018 for procurement and research, development, test, and evaluation, as specified in the funding tables in division D, the Secretary of Defense shall continue the development, procurement, and deployment of anti-air warfare capabilities at each Aegis Ashore site in Romania and Poland. The Secretary shall ensure the deployment of such capabilities— at such sites in Romania by not later than one year after the date of the enactment of this Act; and at such sites in Poland by not later than one year after the declaration of operational status for such sites.
Any reprogramming or transfer made to carry out subsection
(a)shall be carried out in accordance with established procedures for reprogramming or transfers.
