The Director for Cost Estimating and Program Evaluation shall conduct an assessment of the design trade options, and the associated cost and benefit analyses for each such option, for the W80-4 warhead relating to the down-select options to be contained in the final Phase 6.2 study report. Such assessment shall include a review of the cost and schedule estimates of each such option. Not later than 60 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director shall submit to the Administrator for Nuclear Security the assessment under subsection (a).
Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall provide to the congressional defense committees a briefing containing a copy of the hassessment under subsection (a), without change, and any views of the Administrator. The assessment submitted under paragraph
(2)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
