Section 1613 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 ( Public Law 114–328 ) is amended— in subsection (b), by striking one year and inserting two years ; in subsection (c)— by striking Committees on Armed Services of the House of Representatives and the Senate each place it appears and inserting appropriate congressional committees ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: In this subsection, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives; and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives. .
