Sec. 1028. Authority to use video teleconferencing technology in military commission procedures

Section 949d of title 10, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: The military judge may provide for the participation of the accused, defense counsel, trial counsel, and any other participants by video teleconferencing for any matter for which the military judge may call the military commission into session. Any party who participates through the use of video teleconferencing shall be considered as present for purposes of subsection (a)(2). .
