Sec. 10603. Element in next quadrennial review of military compensation on value assigned by members of the Armed Forces to various aspects of military compensation

The President shall ensure that the first quadrennial review of the principals and concepts of the compensation system for members of the uniformed services under section 1008(b) of title 37, United States Code, after the date of the enactment of this Act includes a review of the comparative value members of the Armed Forces assign to various aspects of military compensation, including immediate and deferred cash compensation and in-kind compensation. The review required by subsection
(a)shall be based on an analysis of one or more surveys, conducted for purposes of the review, of representative populations of members of the Armed Forces, including regular members of the Armed Forces and members of the reserve components of the Armed Forces. The President shall include the results of the review required by subsection
(a)in the first report submitted to Congress pursuant to section 1008(b) of title 37, after the date of the enactment of this Act.
