Title IV of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act ( 25 U.S.C. 1641 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following: Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of the Restoring Accountability in the Indian Health Service Act of 2017 , the Secretary, acting through the Service, shall— establish, by regulation, standards to measure the timeliness of the provision of health care services in Service facilities; and provide such standards to each Service unit. The Secretary, acting through the Service, shall develop a process for each Service unit to submit to the Secretary data with respect to the standards established under subsection (a)(1). .
