In addition, from the General Fund of the Treasury, $45,000,000 is for carrying out programs to assist homeless veterans and veterans at risk of homelessness who are transitioning from certain institutions under sections 2021, 2021A, and 2023 of title 38, United States Code: , That notwithstanding subsections (c)(3) and
(d)of section 2023, the Secretary may award grants through September 30, 2017, to provide services under such section: Provided , That services provided under section 2023 may include, in addition to services to the individuals described in subsection
(e)of such section, services to veterans recently released from incarceration who are at risk of homelessness. Provided further For necessary expenses for Department of Labor centralized infrastructure technology investment activities related to support systems and modernization, $18,778,000, which shall be available through September 30, 2018. For salaries and expenses of the Office of Inspector General in carrying out the provisions of the Inspector General Act of 1978, $82,061,000, together with not to exceed $5,660,000 which may be expended from the Employment Security Administration account in the Unemployment Trust Fund.
