Sections 744G and 744H of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act shall cease to be effective October 1, 2022. Section 744I of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act shall cease to be effective January 31, 2023. Effective October 1, 2017, section 404 of the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act ( Public Law 112–144 ) is repealed. The Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act ( Public Law 112–144 ) is amended in the table of contents in section 2 by striking the item relating to section 404.
