Section 412(b) of the Agricultural Research, Extension, and Education Reform Act of 1998 ( 7 U.S.C. 7632(b) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— in subparagraph (D), by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; in subparagraph (E), by adding and at the end; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: size-controlling rootstock systems for perennial crops; ; in paragraph (2)— by striking including threats to specialty crop pollinators; and inserting the following: including— threats to specialty crop pollinators; and ; and by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: emerging and invasive species; ; in paragraph (3), by striking marketing); and inserting the following: marketing) and a better understanding of the soil rhizosphere microbiome, including— pesticide application systems and certified drift-reduction technologies; and systems to improve and extend storage life of specialty crops; ; by redesignating paragraphs
