Section 1402 of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3101 ) is amended— in paragraph (7), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (8), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following new paragraph: support international scientific collaboration that leverages resources and advances the food and agricultural interests of the United States. .
