Section 1271C(c) of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 16 U.S.C. 3871c(c) ) is amended— in paragraph (2), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking a period of 5 years and inserting the applicable period under section 1271B(b) ; and in paragraph (3), by striking the Secretary may waive the applicability of the limitation in section 1001D(b)(2) of this Act for participating producers and inserting notwithstanding the requirements of paragraph
(3)of section 1001D(b), the Secretary may waive the applicability of the limitation in paragraph
(2)of such section, and any limitation on the maximum amount of payments related to the covered programs, for participating producers .
