The Secretary shall maintain, for each covered commodity, base acres and payment yields on a farm established under sections 1001 and 1301 of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 ( 7 U.S.C. 8702 , 8751), as adjusted pursuant to sections 1101, 1102, 1108, and 1302 of such Act ( 7 U.S.C. 8711 , 8712, 8718, 8752), as in effect on September 30, 2013, and as adjusted pursuant to sections 1112 and 1113 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 ( 7 U.S.C. 9012 , 9013). In implementing this title and amendments made by this title, the Secretary shall— continue to reduce administrative burdens and costs to producers by streamlining and reducing paperwork, forms, and other administrative requirements, including through the continuation of the Acreage Crop Reporting and Streamlining Initiative that, in part, shall ensure that— a producer (or an agent of a producer) may report information, electronically (including geospatial data) or conventionally, to the Department; upon the request of the producer (or agent thereof), the Department of Agriculture electronically shares with the producer (or agent) in real time and without cost to the producer (or agent) the common land unit data, related farm level data, and other information of the producer; and no agent, approved insurance provider, or employee or contractor of an agency or approved insurance provider, bears responsibility or liability under the Acreage Crop Reporting and Streamlining Initiative for the eligibility of a producer for programs administered by the Department of Agriculture that are not policies or plans of insurance offered under the Federal Crop Insurance Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1501 et. seq.) except in cases of misrepresentation, fraud, or scheme and device; continue to improve coordination, information sharing, and administrative work with the Farm Service Agency, Risk Management Agency, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service; continue to take advantage of new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of program delivery to producers; and reduce administrative burdens on producers by offering such producers an option to remotely and electronically sign annual contracts for participation in coverage under sections 1116 and 1117.
The Secretary shall make available to the Farm Service Agency to carry out this title and amendments made by this title, $25,000,000. Section 1614(d)(1) of the Agricultural Act of 2014 ( 7 U.S.C. 9097(d)(1) ) is amended— by inserting or subtitles B and C of the after Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018 this title ; by striking made by subtitles B or C and inserting made by such subtitles ; and by inserting of this title, and sections 1207(c) and 1208 of the after Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018 1208 .
Section 1614(d)(2) of the Agricultural Act of 2014 ( 7 U.S.C. 9097(d)(2) ) is amended— by striking of subtitles B or C and inserting of subtitle B or C of this title, or subtitle B or C of the ; and Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018 by striking under subtitles B or C and inserting of subtitle B or C of this title, or subtitle B or C of the . Agriculture and Nutrition Act of 2018
