Section 508(b)(1) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1508(b)(1) ) is amended— by striking
(A)and inserting In general .—Except as provided in subparagraph (B), the The ; and by striking subparagraph (B). Section 508(n)(2) of the Federal Crop Insurance Act ( 7 U.S.C. 1508(n)(2) ) is amended by inserting before the period the following: or to coverage described in section 508D . The Federal Crop Insurance Act is amended by inserting after section 508C ( 7 U.S.C. 1508C ) the following new section: Notwithstanding section 508A, and in addition to any other available coverage, for crops that can be both grazed and mechanically harvested on the same acres during the same growing season, producers shall be allowed to purchase, and be independently indemnified on, separate policies for each intended use, as determined by the Corporation. .
