Section 1240R of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 16 U.S.C. 3839bb–5 ) is amended— in subsections
(a)and (c), by striking grants each place it appears and inserting funding ; in subsections
(b)and (d)(2), by striking a grant each place it appears and inserting funding ; in subsection (c)(3) (as amended by section 2202(b)(1)), by inserting or on land covered by a wetland reserve easement under section 1265C before by providing ; and in subsection (f)— in paragraph (1)— by striking 2012 and and inserting 2012, ; and by inserting , and $50,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2019 through 2023 before the period at the end; by redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); and by inserting after paragraph
(1)the following: To the maximum extent practicable, of the funds made available under paragraph (1), the Secretary shall use $3,000,000 for the period of fiscal years 2019 through 2023 to encourage public access to land covered by wetland reserve easements under section 1265C through agreements with States and tribal governments under this section. .
