Section 1415B of the National Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching Policy Act of 1977 ( 7 U.S.C. 3151b ) is amended— in subsection (c)(2)— by striking to qualified and inserting the following: “to— qualified ; in subparagraph
(A)(as so designated), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: qualified entities for the purpose of exposing students in grades 11 and 12 to education and career opportunities in food animal medicine. ; and in subsection (h)— by striking the subsection designation and heading and inserting the following: ; in paragraph
(1)(as so designated), by striking for fiscal year 2014 and each fiscal year thereafter and inserting for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2023 ; and by adding at the end the following: The Secretary shall award not less than 2/3 of amounts made available for grants under this section to qualified entities with a focus on food animal medicine. .
