Section 1240C(a) of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 16 U.S.C. 3839aa–3(a) ) is amended— by striking that will ensure and inserting the following: that shall— ensure ; in paragraph

(1)(as so designated), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: give priority to the consideration of the most effective practices to address natural resource concerns on eligible land. .
