Section 1611(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1382(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) ) is amended by striking 30 days each place it appears and inserting 15 days . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall apply with respect to any payment made by the Commissioner of Social Security pursuant to section 1611(e)(1)(I)(i)(II) of the Social Security Act (as amended by such subsection) on or after the date that is 6 months after the date of enactment of this Act.
