Section 2(b)(1)(J) of the Export-Import Bank Act of 1945 ( 12 U.S.C. 635(b)(1)(J) ) is amended— by striking The Bank and inserting
(i)The Bank ; and by adding at the end the following: Not later than 30 months after the date of the enactment of the Promoting U.S. Jobs Through Exports Act of 2015 , the Bank shall implement policies— to accept electronic documents whenever possible, including copies of bills of lading, certifications, and compliance documents, in such a manner as will not undermine any potential civil or criminal enforcement related to the transaction; and to accept electronic payments in all of its programs. .
