Section 3 of the Act of March 2, 1945 (59 Stat. 23, chapter 19; 33 U.S.C. 603a ), is amended— by striking $1,000,000 and inserting $5,000,000 ; by striking accumulated snags and other debris and inserting accumulated snags, obstructions, and other debris located in or adjacent to a Federal channel ; and by striking or flood control and inserting , flood control, or recreation .
