Section 1240H(a)(2) of the Food Security Act of 1985 ( 16 U.S.C. 3839aa–8(a)(2) ) is amended— by redesignating subparagraphs
(E)and
(F)as subparagraphs
(F)and (G), respectively; and by inserting after subparagraph
(D)the following: partner with urban farmers to develop innovative conservation practices in urban areas to increase— green space; pollinator habitat; stormwater management; carbon sequestration; and access to agricultural production sites through land tenure agreements and other contracts; .
