In this title: Except as otherwise indicated, the term Department means the Department of Health and Human Services. The term Director means the Director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement of the Department. The term local educational agency has the meaning given the term in section 8101 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 ( 20 U.S.C. 7801 ). The term resident adult means any individual age 18 or older who regularly lives, shares common areas, and sleeps in a sponsor or prospective sponsor’s home.
Except as otherwise indicated, the term Secretary means the Secretary of Health and Human Services. There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this title.
