Section 3(c)(3) of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2004 ( 2 U.S.C. 2108(c)(3) ) is amended— in the paragraph heading, by striking and inserting and disbursements ; and disbursements, and transfers by adding at the end the following: The Commission may transfer amounts in the fund to the Architect of the Capitol for the cost of the conservation or restoration, in whole or in part, by the Architect of the Capitol of works of art, historical objects, documents, or material relating to historical matters placed or exhibited, or to be placed or exhibited, within the Senate wing of the United States Capitol or any Senate Office Building.
Amounts transferred to the Architect of the Capitol under clause
(i)shall remain available until expended. .
