Sec. 2843. Status and management of non-federal land acquired by the United States

On conveyance to the United States under this part, the non-Federal land shall be managed by the Secretary in accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 ( 43 U.S.C. 1701 et seq. ) and applicable land use plans. On conveyance to the Secretary under this part, the non-Federal land located within the Cedar Mountains Wilderness shall, in accordance with section 206(c) of the Federal Land Policy Act of 1976 ( 43 U.S.C. 1716(c) ), be added to, and administered as part of, the Cedar Mountains Wilderness.
On conveyance to the Secretary under this part, non-Federal land located in a national wilderness area or national conservation area shall be managed in accordance with the applicable provisions of subtitle O of title I of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 ( Public Law 111–11 ).
