Sec. 947. Reorganization and redesignation of Office of Family Policy and Office of Community Support for Military Families with Special Needs

Section 1781(a) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— by striking Office of Family Policy and inserting Office of Military Family Readiness Policy ; and by striking Director of Family Policy and inserting Director of Military Family Readiness Policy . Such section is further amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: The Director shall be a member of the Senior Executive Service or a general officer or flag officer. . Subsection (b)(1)(E) of section 1781a of such title is amended by striking Office of Community Support for Military Families with Special Needs and inserting Office of Military Family Readiness Policy .
Section 131(b)(7)(F) of such title is amended by striking Director of Family Policy and inserting Director of Military Family Readiness Policy . The heading of section 1781 of such title is amended to read as follows: . The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 88 of such title is amended by striking the item relating to section 1781 and inserting the following new item: 1781.
