Sec. 842. Key Performance Parameter reduction pilot program

The Secretary of Defense shall identify at least one acquisition program per military service to reduce the total number of Key Performance Parameters
(KPP)levied against the program for purposes of determining whether operational and programmatic outcomes are improved by limiting KPPs on a program to a small number of program-specific performance features. Acquisition programs identified for the pilot program established under paragraph
(1)shall establish no more than three KPPs, each of which shall describe a program-specific performance attribute. Other mandatory KPPs for such programs shall be treated as Key System Attributes.
