Section 1561(e) of title 10, United States Code, is amended— in paragraph (1)— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking (constituting a form of sex discrimination) ; and in subparagraph (B), by striking the work environment and inserting the environment ; and in paragraph (3), by striking in the workplace . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act, and shall apply with respect to complaints described in section 1561 of title 10, United States Code, that are first received by a commanding officer or officer in charge on or after that date.
