Sec. 313. Utility data management for military facilities

The Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of Energy, may carry out a pilot program to investigate the use of utility data management services to perform utility bill aggregation, analysis, third-party payment, storage, and distribution for the Department of Defense. Of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2017 for operation and maintenance, Navy, for enterprise information, not more than $250,000 may be obligated or expended to carry out the pilot program under subsection (a).
