Sec. 1226. Quarterly report on confirmed ballistic missile launches from Iran

Not later than the last day of the first fiscal year quarter beginning after the date of the enactment of this Act, and every 90 days thereafter, the Director of National Intelligence shall submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report describing any confirmed ballistic missile launch by Iran during the previous calendar quarter. Not later than the last day of the second fiscal year quarter beginning after the date of the enactment of this Act, and every 90 days thereafter, the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Treasury shall jointly submit to the appropriate committees of Congress a report setting forth a description of the following:
The efforts, if any, to impose unilateral sanctions against appropriate entities or individuals in connection with a confirmed ballistic missile launch from Iran. The diplomatic efforts, if any, to impose multilateral sanctions against appropriate entities or individuals in connection with such a confirmed ballistic missile launch. Any other matters the Secretaries consider appropriate. The report on a calendar quarter under subsection
(a)shall be submitted concurrently with the report on the calendar quarter under subsection (b). Each report under this section shall, to the extent practicable, be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex. No report is required under this section after December 31, 2019. In this section, the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Relations, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Foreign Affairs, the Committee on Financial Services, and the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives.
