Sec. 3126. Briefing on the information-interchange of low-enriched uranium

Not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of Energy, and the Secretary of State shall provide a briefing to the appropriate congressional committees on the feasibility and potential benefits of a dialogue between the United States and France on the use of low-enriched uranium in naval reactors. In this section, the term appropriate congressional committees means— the congressional defense committees; the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence of the House of Representatives and the Select Committee on Intelligence of the Senate; and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources of the Senate.
