Subsection 1532(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1091) is amended by striking fiscal year 2016 and inserting fiscal years 2016 and 2017 . Section 1532(c) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013 ( Public Law 112–239 ; 126 Stat. 2057) is amended— in paragraph (1)— by striking for fiscal year 2013 and for fiscal year 2016, and inserting for fiscal years 2013, 2016, and 2017 ; by inserting with the concurrence of the Secretary of State after may be available to the Secretary of Defense ; by striking of the Government of Pakistan and inserting of foreign governments ; and by striking from Pakistan to locations in Afghanistan ; in paragraph (2), by striking of the Government of Pakistan and inserting of foreign governments ; in paragraph (3)— in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by striking the congressional defense committees and inserting Congress ; and in subparagraph (B)— by striking the Government of Pakistan and inserting foreign governments ; and by striking from Pakistan to locations in Afghanistan ; and in paragraph (4), as most recently amended by section 1532(b)(2) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1091), by striking December 31, 2016 and inserting December 31, 2017 .
