Sec. 1205. Modification and codification of reporting requirements relating to security cooperation authorities

Subsection
(a)of section 1211 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( Public Law 113–291 ; 128 Stat. 3544) is amended— by striking and all that follows through Biennial the Secretary of Defense and inserting ; Annual report required .—Not later than January 31 of each year through January 31, 2021, the Secretary of Defense by striking congressional defense committees and inserting appropriate congressional committees ; by striking security assistance and inserting assistance ; and by striking the two fiscal years and inserting the fiscal year . Subsection
(b)of such section is amended— in paragraph (1), by inserting , duration, after purpose ; in paragraph (2), by striking The cost and inserting The cost and expenditures ; by adding at the end the following: For each foreign country in which the training, equipment, or other assistance or reimbursement was provided, a description of the extent of participation, if any, by the military forces and security forces or other government organizations of such foreign country. The number of members of the Armed Forces involved in providing such training, equipment, or assistance and a description of the military benefits for such members involved in providing such training, equipment or assistance. A summary, by authority, of the activities carried out under each authority specified in subsection (c). . Subsection
(c)of such section is amended— by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: Sections 256, 263, 271, 272, 273, 281, 284, 285, 286, and 287. . by striking paragraphs (4), (5), (7), and (11); by redesignating paragraphs (6), (8), (9), (10), and
(12)through
(17)as paragraphs
(4)through (13), respectively; by adding at the end the following: Section 401, relating to humanitarian and civic assistance provided in conjunction with military operations. Section 1206 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (128 Stat. 3538; 10 U.S.C. 2282 note), relating to authority to conduct human rights training of security forces and associated security ministries of foreign countries. Section 1534 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 (128 Stat. 3616), relating to the Counterterrorism Partnerships Fund. Section 1203 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 ( Public Law 113–66 ; 127 Stat. 894; 10 U.S.C. 2011 note), relating to training of general purpose forces of the United States Armed Forces with military and other security forces of friendly foreign countries. ; and by striking of title 10, United States Code each place it appears. (e)of such section is amended by adding that may also include other sensitive information after annex . 1211 of FY 2015 NDAA Chapter 11 of title 10, United States Code, as amended by section 1261 of this Act, is further amended by inserting after section 251 a new section 252 consisting of— a heading as follows: ; and a text consisting of the text of subsections

(e)as subsection (d). Section 1534 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( Public Law 113–291 ; 128 Stat. 3616) is amended— by striking subsection (g); and by redesignating subsection
(h)as subsection (g). Section 1203 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 ( Public Law 113–66 ; 127 Stat. 894; 10 U.S.C. 2011 note) is amended— in subsection (a)(1), by striking subsection
(f)and inserting subsection
(e); by striking subsection (e); and by redesignating subsections (f), (g), and
(h)as subsections (e), (f), and (g), respectively. Section 1205 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2014 ( Public Law 113–66 ; 127 Stat. 897; 32 U.S.C. 107 note) is amended— by striking subsection (f); and by redesignating subsection (g), subsection (h), the second subsection (h), and subsection
(i)as subsections (f), (g), (h), and (i), respectively.
